RCCG women advised to embrace true transformation for better homes,societies

Participants at a Zonal special programme for Women at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Celebration Zonal Headquarters of Lagos Province 10, Region 37 has been urged to transform their lives in other to build good homes and better societies. According to the women, to reduce the rate of vices that’s plaguing society, true transformation can only come through Jesus christ.
Speaking on the theme “THE TRANSFORMED WOMAN” the guest speaker, Pastor (Mrs) Mojisola Babatunde (Wife of the Chairman, Orile-Agege Local council devt area) said transformation became necessary because of the moral decadence that’s currently facing the society at large. She quoted from the book of Romans 12:1-3, saying transformation can only take place when there’s total submission and determination.
According to her, corrupt societies and bad companies can hinder good transformation.
In her words, “God has created a woman in such a way that she can address a lot of things at every point in time. We should find time to pray, keep good friends that are godly, be impactful in the house of God and also remain watchful especially within the society we are presently, and with the help of Jesus christ there will be the true transformation that we yearn for ”
Also, speaking on the health challenges of women, Pastor Bola Orefejo advised women to avoid unhealthy foods that can cause diseases such as diabetes, obesity and cardiovascular diseases.
Orefejo also urged women to provide balanced diets for their family in place of sugary, fatty foods and outlined other activities that pose danger to life.
“Healthy feeding, regular exercise, personal hygiene, and a clean environment are activities needed to facilitate a healthy home. I appeal to women to embrace these steps’’, she said.
Another speaker, Pastor Bukola Kayode-Ojo, said women in the current economic situation should engage in other profitable businesses even when they are in paid employment, citing examples of her business growth stages as a reference point.
Participants described the programme as a unique one. The program coordinator, Mrs. Bola Akangbe said: “We had wonderful speakers, and I believe that by next year, there will be mighty testimonies in our lives. The guest speaker did not only tackle our spiritual life but seriously touched aspects of our marital homes. ”
Host and wife of Pastor in charge of the Zonal Headquarter, Pastor (Mrs) Bridget Onifade counselled the participants to draw the line between their marital homes and their other responsibilities, maintaining that if women can be totally transformed and submissive to their husbands, Nigerian homes and the Church would be heaven on earth.
