Just in :Port Harcourt refinery resumes crude oil processing

 

 

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited says the Port Harcourt refinery has officially commenced crude oil processing.

In a statement on Tuesday, the NNPC said the milestone signifies a new era of energy independence and economic growth for the country.

“Hearty congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the NNPC Board, and the exceptional leadership of GCEO Mele Kyari for their unwavering commitment to this transformative project. Together, we are reshaping Nigeria’s energy future!” the national oil company said.

In a social media post, Femi Soneye, NNPC’s chief corporate communications officer, said truck loading will begin today dding that the NNPCL is also “working tirelessly to bring the Warri Refinery back online soon”
