What God told me about coronavirus early this year – Adeboye
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Adejare Adeboye, indicated on Sunday that he actually knew about Covid-19 otherwise known as coronavirus, currently ravaging the world, because God tipped him off about it early in the year.
The cleric, who revealed this in a special broadcast on Dove Media, told members of the church that God he was informed by God early in the year about a compulsory holiday throughout the world the He (God), would declare.
“When early in the year, I declared a 50-day fast, you did not ask why, because you trusted me. I want you to still trust me now,”
he told the congregation in the special message, adding that he had his reasons to keep the revelation to himself.
In a sermon, centred on Psalm 92, “He who dwells in the secret of the Most High shall abide by the shadow of the Almighty…,” the cleric, reminded the worshippers about his telling them what the world would look like at a stage this year.
“Remember that I told you that the world would behave like a child in convulsion. God said there will be compulsory holiday. The closest we had like that was during 9-11. If God told you there would be compulsory holiday or something of that magnitude like 9-11, the problem, will go when God has achieved His special purpose that the world would know that He is God.
Adeboye, tried to play down the impact of the pandemic, arguing that death through malaria or even accidents was five times more than Coronavirus.
