EX CONVICT ARRESTED FOR ROBBERY IN Ogun

An ex convict Kehinde Shoboyede has been arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for robbery related offences within Agbado area of the state.
The suspect who was arrested on the 9th of June, 2020 has been arrested, charged to court and convicted for similar offences before, and was recently released from prison custody.
According to the state PPRO, people of the area started noticing series of robbery incidents and their number one suspect was Kehinde Shoboyejo.
“The attention of the DPO Agbado division,SP Kuranga Yero was alerted.
” Without wasting time,the DPO embarked on an intelligence based investigation through which the detectives got a clue leading to the suspect’s arrest.
Upon interogation, he confessed to be the person carrying out series of robbery operations in Agbado and it’s environs in collaboration with one man who he simply identified as Rafiu presently at large.” DSP Oyeyemi said.
Recovered from him are: one cut to size locally made pistol, four live cartridges and one sharp knife.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Kenneth Ebrimson has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to the special anti robbery squads SARS for a discreet investigation.
He equally directed that his partner in crime must be hunted for and brought to Justice.
