Akarigbo of Remoland Commends Remolanders for their proposed initiative on CSR
The Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Adewale Ajayi has commended Remolanders, a social club for their good and impressive initiative on Corporate Social Responsibility. (CSR)
The monarch made this known when
members of the social club paid him a visit on Tuesday 12th July 2002 at his palace in Sagamu, Ogun state
The visit commenced with the introduction of the club and its mission and vision by the President, Barr. Olanrewaju Olaleye. It was thereafter followed by the introduction of members by the General Secretary, Mr. Deji Aina, MNIM.
The Monarch while welcoming the members of the Club said he was impressed by their motivation for establishing the club and the desire to give back to society, amongst others.
According to him. the emergence of Remolanders came at a time Remo, and Shagamu in particular, was going through some security challenges, adding that creating job opportunities to engage the youths would go a long way in addressing some of the root causes of the societal ills.
The Monarch commended the impressive profile of the club’s members and noted that he was open to proposals and suggestions aimed at improving the socioeconomic narratives of Remo land.
The event ended with the monarch blessing the club members, followed by a group photograph.
