CSR : E-Terra Technologies provides free medical services to Shoba community, Amuwo odofin in Lagos

As part of its efforts to ensure grassroot communities enjoy free medical services , E-Terra Technologies Ltd (E-Terra) an eco friendly mangenemt firm with its sister agency, the E-Waste Relief Foundation (ERF has put smiles on the faces of the people of Shoba Community in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
E-Terra is a pioneering company that is into the eco-friendly management of electronic waste (e-waste); recycling, refurbishing, and data destruction of storage devices in alignment with the global vision of a greener planet.
The medical outreach was put together in collaboration with her sister outfit, the E-Waste Relief Foundation (ERF) a Non Governmental Organisation. Nigeria’s first non-governmental organization (NGO) strictly dedicated to tackling the global e-waste crisis in Nigeria with goals that include: e-waste crisis and solution awareness creation for Nigeria’s societies, establishment of e-waste education for Nigeria’s primary, secondary and tertiary Educational Institutions, awareness creation exercises for informal handlers of electronic waste; advising and supporting Nigeria’s Federal and State government agencies on the most sustainable e-waste management policies in line with global circular economy goals.
The companies, thought it wise to give succor to the people where her business domiciled, to this end, the company organized a one day Free Medical Outreach for the people of Shoba community.
The two outfits also used the opportunity to sensitize the community on the need to dispose their various obsolete electronics safely to avoid health hazards
Over 200 inhabitants of the community, including children, benefitted immensely from the Free Medical Outreach.
Chief Jimoh Raheem, The Baale of Shoba Community was elated of the programme. He used the opportunity to also thank E-Terra Technologies for the donation of sets of computers to The School of Technologies few years ago. But, he was overwhelmed with the free medical outreach that is more impactful to the immediate people in his community.
Mr. Solomon Ekpo, a resident of Shoba community testified to the impact of the free health facility, he informed us that he is more knowledgeable about the activities of E-Terra as regards professional and effective disposal of electronic waste (e-waste).
Prince Raheem, son of Baale of Shoba Communty, gave E-Terra and ERF accolades for this free health initiative, he said, E-Terra’s presence is a blessing to the people of Shoba community.
The event was eventually put to end after over 200 inhabitants of Shoba Community had benefited from the programme and the Baale, thanked and prayed for the staff of E-Terra Technologies Ltd and ERF.
