TO SOLOMON OGBONNA AGUENE
Anybody who knows Solomon Ogbonna Aguene whose tenure as Chairman OHANEZE NDIGBO Lagos has expired should ask him to make way for a free and fair elections to take place today for his successor to emerge. Solomon has been looking for a way to succeed himself even when he knows within the scope of his conscience that OHANEZE CONSTITUTION does not permit second term or third term. This reckless and inordinate ambition of Solomon Ogbonna Aguene is causing a lot of problems within the Igbo community in Lagos. Solomon has been using the Police to harass and intimidate electoral officers and voters. He has secured a kangaroo court injunction to put the election on hold. This is unacceptable and at best ridiculous in a great city like Lagos, the land of civilization.
This is political season in Nigeria and we do not want to heat up the polity. The other day there was this Alaba/ Ojo infractions that nearly caused a big problem between Igbo Community in that corridor and our host community, the Yoruba. As the political leader of Ndigbo in Lagos I want to use this medium to ask Solomon Ogbonna Aguene to abide by OHANEZE Constitution for Lagos chapter to conduct a free an fair elections. OHANEZE Constitution does not permit Second Term.
