Lagos police arrest five for harassing, threatening car owners

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested five suspects for harassing and threatening car owners invited to parties in the Billingsway area of Oregun, Ikeja.

This was made known in a post shared on the X handle of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), on Tuesday, April 23.

The post reads: “Around 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, RRS responded to a distress call about miscreants harassing and threatening car owners invited to parties in Billingsway, Oregun, Ikeja.

“On getting to the scene, our operatives arrested five suspects seen, harassing and threatening to vandalize parked cars whose owners did not settle them.

“The suspects are Oluwasegun Oluwafemi (28), Ahmed Kayode (30), Benedict Kayme (29), Popoola Afeez (30) and Patrick Oleka (28).

“The suspects have been charged to court on the instruction of CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi, Commander, Rapid Response Squad (RRS).”
