Engnr S. M Odukoya emerges 13th Chairman of NIEE
The Nigerian Institution of Environmental Engineers, a division of the Nigeria Society of Engineers recently elected new national executive committee that Wil run the affairs of the institution with the emergence of Engnr S. M Odukoya as its 13th National Chairman. The event also witnessed the investiture ceremony of the newly elected Chairman.
Other members are,Erstwhile GM of LASEMA, Engnr A. A Antonio,(Vice Chatman NIEE), Engnr. A. A Gege,, Engnr Mrs I, A Lawal, Engnr N, A Ogun Yemi, Engnr O. M Ojuwuro, Engnr C. I Umekesiobi, Engnr Murthadha Tijani, Engnr Mrs O. O Agboola, Engnr Prof N. J Ayotamuno, Engnr Pfof B. I. O Dahunsi, Engnr Dr. Ngozi Nwogu, Engnr Uche Ihuwuze and Engnr O. E. S. Ajani
In his remarks, Engnr. Odukoya disclosed that he’s grateful to all members that bestowed upon him the privilege to serve them as the new Chairman of NIEE.
According to him “It is a great privilege and honor to continue the legacies of our last Exco and our past Chairman in ensuring that we fulfill the mission and vision of NIEE”
The Chairman aslo said that the society Wil .partner with both Federal and State governments in their quest for environmental sustainability. He said “Environmental challenges like erosion, oil spillage, CLinate change will receive adequate attention from our Society”
