Forrmer Nigerian Senator, who reprecented Adamawa North Senatorial District ay the 10th Assembly, Ishaku Elisha Abbo has denied an allegation of sexual scandal with a married woman.
It was reported earlier that a viral video clip that captured a light-skinned man having sexual intercourse with an alleged married woman surfaced on the Internet last week.
Another video clip that emerged on X on Monday captured a woman alleging that she was sexually harassed by the former lawmaker.
The woman accused Abbo of using the video clip to blackmail her.
But speaking with journalists at a press conference on Monday, Abbo vehemently denied the viral video, accusing his political opponents of plotting to damage his reputation.
“How can you identify a person without seeing his face, his body, only parts of his legs and you said it is Senator Abbo.
“Blackmail cannot stop me from winning elections. A senator from one of the northern states was shown in a sex video with his entire body, but he still won an election to the Senate, and his wife won an election to the House of Representatives.
“My people love me. No amount of blackmail can stop me,” he insisted.
Abbo, was sacked from the upper legislative Chamber by an Appeal Court on October 16, 2023. The former lawmaker was in the news in May 2019 when he was accused of attacking a breastfeeding mother in a sex toy shop in Abuja
