Wife allegedly Stabs Husband to Death in Gwoza, Borno State

A 44-year-old woman, Falmata Muhammad, has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband to death in Pulka, Gwoza Local Government Area.
Intelligence sources disclosed that he incident occurred at about 5:30 a.m. when Falmata Muhammad attacked her husband, Muhammad Mallum, 50, with a knife, inflicting a fatal chest wound.
The victim was rushed to the General Hospital, Gwoza, but was confirmed dead by a medical doctor. His body has been deposited in the hospital’s mortuary for autopsy.
Following the report from a relative of the deceased, Police detectives from Gwoza Division arrested the suspect. The murder weapon was recovered as evidence.
Police sources said a full investigation into the motive behind the attack, with plans for diligent prosecution has been lunched.
